Come to the dedication of a new roadside historical marker in Cambridge village on VT Route 15, the GAR Highway, on May 18. There will be Civil War exhibits and displays, including reenactors, at the Boyden Barn and the public is welcome 10 am to 4 pm. The marker will be unveiled at the location on VT 15 across the highway from the Grand Army of the Republic monument and describes the GAR organization of Union veterans of the Civil War and the designation of VT 15 as the GAR Highway in 1937.
